What's up with the site now?
Tripps shut down this site due to lack of time to manage it. It is now being
operated by myself (TheWaitingUnknown) on another server. Right now, I'm leaving
things as they were, but expect changes soon.
Note: The server this site is currently located on is only a temporary one.

How long has this site been online?
This site was created by a person named Tripps. It was originally written
with vi in a
college computer lab back in the autumn of 1995.
What about the words at around 3:57 in "the
wretched"?
According to the FAQ
at echoingthesound.org,
it's just random radio interference that somehow got on the track and sounded
cool enough to keep.
What about "twist" or "purest feeling" or "deep"
or the other missing songs?
I only post the lyrics to songs found on official halos. As a default,
I use the US CD edition of each halo. If there are track order differences
or extra songs, I will also include the US vinyl edition and/or the EU CD
edition. Because of one altered song, I also include the cassette edition
of halo 14 in this site. I do not cover songs from soundtracks, bootlegs,
demos, promos, limited editions, Japanese halos, Australian halos, or songs
from videos not appearing on halo 12. Why not? I prefer to keep this site
simple, clean-looking, and easy to maintain.
An exception is made due to the myriad of versions of halos 18 and 19,
especially the fact that halo 18 only exists as an import single. Therefore,
I've decided to list the digipack version of halo 18, as it's the most
comprehensive of the various versions of the halo. Halo 20 is a similar
situation, and I list the CD maxi Europe version. For halo 19 I list the
Japanese import version due to two extra songs neither contained on the US
CD nor the US vinyl.
How do I access the secret "title 5" tracks on the second halo
17 DVD?
Input "Title 5, Track 3" (or 7 or 10) in your DVD player's search
mode. If you still can't figure this out, do a Google search for nine
inch nails easter egg to find instructions.
